Volleyball – A great “cue” word, or teaching key word to get the most out of your volleyball players setters’ hands is “DRAW” – to draw those hands (or guns) out of his/her holster will result in that snappy, clean finish to well-placed, level receiving hands.
Basketball – A great “cue” word or teaching key word to get an awesome follow-through from you shooter is GOOSENECK! The image of the follow-through hold being like that of a gooseneck/head will provide an image that will stick. It’s easy to say and serve as a great reminder to get that follow-through up and consistent. “Hold your gooseneck” will become a phrase you will use in every practice or training session.
